22 Weeks 4 days....and Child Birthing class!

So last weekend, we had our child birthing class. WE LOVED IT. We learned so much and our instructor was really really good. Although, I was the earliest along because I thought my doctor said to TAKE the class between 20-25 weeks, and he said to BOOK the class during that time. OH WELL! lol. What else is crazy is that EVERYONE but one couple, 9 out of 10, are having boys! Crazy. A couple of notes that I don't want to forget are:
1) bring my IZ hawaiian CD to the L&D room, along with my journal, camera, and other relaxing CD's.
2)bring and exercise ball
3) stay at home as LONG as possible. NO epidural for me :)))
4) BREATHE
5) bring things from home to make the room feel more comfortable.
6) pray for a PRIVATE postpartum room!!

Anyway, I HIGHLY suggest taking the child birthing class through Clovis Community if that is where you will be delivering. The lady is HILARIOUS, plus it's so productive. Even Jeff enjoyed it!

So, I am 22 weeks and 4 days. I am having some 'bladder' problems....when I laugh, cough, bend, or pretty much stand anywhere, I pee! Not a lot, but a enough to totally realize what just happened!! It's terrible! Guess I need to work on those Kegels. Hayden is ALL over the place. Jeff is starting to be able to feel him more but it is a matter of being patient on his part lol.

Today is Thanksgiving and I am ready to get my grub ON! lol

Couple Memories I forgot to Write Down

So before I forget these memories in detail, I need to jot them down:
Putting together Hayden's Furniture: 10/30/10
Today we bought the Crib and Changing Table at Target. We were so excited to put it together when we got home! We moved the huge boxes into the living room and ripped open the box for the changing table and took out the wooden pieces and instructions. Jeff put it together in a jiffy and we took it down the little hallway into Hayden's room. Next, the crib. This one took a little more time, but when it was all put together, it looked beautiful! I got on one end and Jeff on the other and we began our journey down the hallway, the very narrow hallway, into Hayden's room...Only, the crib wouldn't fit. Not on it's side, not at an angle, not at all! Meanwhile, I am trapped in the doorway of the bathroom blocked by the bars of the crib! Jeff maneuvered his way out and went to try to take the glass off he window outside which leads into Hayden's room. After 20 minutes of trying, the glass just would not come off! We ended up having to take the sides of the crib off and then putting it back together after we finally got it in there! It was a hilarious experience.

Jeff feels Hayden Kick 11/17/10:
I have been feeling Hayden moving around for about a month now, here and there little flutters and rolling around inside, but none of his movements have been strong enough for Jeff to feel. Last night, he was kicking so much, I asked Jeff to just put his hand there just in case. After waiting a while, Hayden kicked so incredibly hard! It was amazing that Jeff finally got to feel how strong our baby boy is getting! And crazy for me to have been kicked this hard! It was such an amazing moment. Jeff said "I actually saw my hand come up from it!" He was so excited :0)

21 Weeks and counting!

I have been so extremely horrible about updating this blog and I know I am going to regret it!!! grrr!!! Now that I am officially past the mid-point in my pregnancy, the count down til when Hayden comes finally begins! I have been feeling him a lot more lately....nothing crazy, but definitley some kicking, punching, and somersaulting going around. In the next couple weeks I should be able to play the "flash light" game with him and hear his heartbeat on the at home monitor Melanie let me borrow. I listen almost everyday lol. When at the last doctors appointment, Dr. Dave said from what he saw from the ultrasounds at Dr. Helm's office, and from what he can hear (the strongest heartbeat EVER!!) everything seems to be going great! I don't go back until Dec. 15th. This weekend is our child-birthing class. I am really looking forward to it, I just hope that I actually get something from it....if not anything legit, then at least its bonding time with my husband :) The first trimester acne that I thought I was done with is BACK. And it's back with a vengence. Ughhh...it's so bad, but from what I keep reading it's very normal. Well, it may be normal, but not very cute! My appetite has fully returned and is growing rapidly!! I am hungry all the time. LITERALLY. I had my first western bacon cheeseburger since I have been prego yesterday and OMG. it was incredible. But that's the only one I am allowing myself to have til D-day :)) I promised myself that I wouldn't eat fast food (not counting taco bell of course) my entire pregnancy except ONE western bacon, and I just used my voucher :) It was the most incredible western bacon I have ever had too. ANYWAY! enough about the western....lol. Here's a little update on what's scientifically going on with the baby :)
From Baby-Center:
"Your baby now weighs about three-quarters of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long -the length of a carrot. You may soon feel like she's practicing martial arts as her initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. You may also discover a pattern to her activity as you get to know her better. In other developments, your baby's eyebrows and lids are present now."

I recommend seeing a Chiropractor! and other news...

For anyone who is pregnant right now or plans to be in the future I HIGHLY recommend seeing Dr. Claudia Anrig at Anrig chiropractic. She specializes in prenatal wellness. Not only does chiropractic care help with nervous problems and other aspects of your health, it reduces the risk of having a C-section and shortens labor time immensely! I had major lower back pain during my third and fourth months of being pregnant and after seeing her twice the pain is completely relieved. Also, she gives out tons of great info on wellness during pregnancy, delivery and after the baby... Wonderful! If anyone wants more information please let me know!!! I feel so great! After an adjustment, you can just feel that the baby has more room to move around (Hayden goes NUTS after an adjustment) and you feel that you just sit taller and feel....happier!!

Anywho. Jeff and I are trying to plan a trip out of town to try an get one last trip alone in before he baby comes. We have a few destinations in mind...but we shall see. It all depends on if I can get the time off. Also, I ordered our Christmas cards from shutterfly this year. It was just easier (not necessarily cheaper...) to go this route this year. I am excited on how they turned out....

Anyway, on a baby note...I feel I am getting pretty big now and growing rapidly! Hayden is moving around more and more everyday and getting his furniture really made the reality of it sink in!! We are getting so excited for him to come!! :))
